The National Service Scheme (NSS) plays a vital role in fostering community service and personal development among students. At Ch. Ishwar Singh Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Dhand-Dawana (Kaithal), two active NSS units operate under the guidance of Dr. Kamlesh and Dr. Meena, engaging around 200 committed students in various impactful activities.
Key initiatives include:
- Blood Donation Camps: Promoting lifesaving donations within the community.
- Swachh Bharat Abhiyan: Encouraging cleanliness and sanitation efforts.
- Tree Plantation: Contributing to environmental conservation.
- Health Camps: Providing essential health services to those in need.

Each year, a special 7-day camp is held in an adopted village, focusing on:
- Education and literacy
- Environmental conservation
- Community development
- Health and hygiene
Additionally, three one-day camps are organized annually at the college, fostering social awareness and community development. Guided by the motto “Not Me, But You,” NSS encourages selfless service and a sense of responsibility among students.
