The National Service Scheme (NSS) plays a vital role in fostering community service and personal development among students. At Ch. Ishwar Singh Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Dhand-Dawana (Kaithal), two active NSS units operate under the guidance of Dr. Kamlesh and Dr. Meena, engaging around 200 committed students in various impactful activities.

Key initiatives include:

  • Blood Donation Camps: Promoting lifesaving donations within the community.
  • Swachh Bharat Abhiyan: Encouraging cleanliness and sanitation efforts.
  • Tree Plantation: Contributing to environmental conservation.
  • Health Camps: Providing essential health services to those in need.
  • Disaster Relief: Offering support during emergencies.
  • NSS Day: Celebrating the spirit of service and commitment.

Each year, a special 7-day camp is held in an adopted village, focusing on:

  1. Education and literacy
  2. Environmental conservation
  3. Community development
  4. Health and hygiene

Additionally, three one-day camps are organized annually at the college, fostering social awareness and community development. Guided by the motto “Not Me, But You,” NSS encourages selfless service and a sense of responsibility among students.
